There are 2 items that must be completed in order to receive the password to register into a NorCal FIRST LEGO League Explore Festival:

In order to be eligible to register (and receive the event password):

1. Your team must show a Yes in column labeled  “FIRST Fully Event Ready” (column F).
   1. FIRST Fully Event Ready is when the FIRST Team Roster has a Yes in columns G,H,I,N and columns J,K,L,M numbers are between 2 to 6.  Instructions
   2. Basically this means that the team has at least 2 identified coaches/mentors that are both screened AND the team members’ parent/guardian have signed the online FIRST consent and release waiver AND there are between 2 and 6 total team members that have been accepted onto the team.
   3. The FIRST Team Roster is only available and completed on the firstinspires.org website by Lead Coach 1 from the team dashboard.
2. And your team must show a Yes in column labeled “PAL Fully Event Ready” (column E)
   1. PAL Fully Event Ready is when your team has submitted the Team Info form  (with a valid FIRST registered team number – do not enter your team name or temporary team number, this will not be accepted).

The local team status list  is updated via a manual process and not automated in any way – we try to update at least weekly during open Festival registration but it can slip to monthly or less frequently.

Once both columns show Yes,  the Lead Coach 1 will receive the registration password via email – local NorCal Festival Event Registration is managed on the Events Calendar on the local playingatlearning.org site.

If you believe that you should have received the email with the registration password but did not (first look in your spam – for example both yahoo.com and hotmail.com push all of our emails into spam folders), just send email to flljr@playingatlearning.org  . Please include team number and a short description.
