2024/2025 NorCal FLL Explore Festivals

For the 2024/2025 season, the NorCal FLL Explore events will be held most in person.  We are in the process of confirming Festivals through April 2025.   We are still looking for additional Hosts – see Host Guidelines.

TEAM VOLUNTEERS:   For FLL Explore we strongly encourage each team to provide at least 1 volunteer.  Unlike in other NorCal programs (FLL Challenge or FTC), team-related volunteers can fill ANY role available (even reviewer) since the events are non-competitive (all teams are recognized with a trophy) and there is no advancement.

 

When Registration Opens on mylumi site:

  1. Go to https://mylumi.playingatlearning.org to register and pay for an event.
  2. The Team Registration fee is $220.  There are 3 additional, optional items to add (or not).
    1. Team Medals
    2. Team Member Trophies
    3. Donation to Playing At Learning to help teams in need
  3. Have multiple teams?
    1. Note that you will have to do each team separately but you can  pay in 1 consolidated shopping cart.
    2. Importantly, each team must be able to have at least 1 designated supervising adult that will be online with the team for the entire event.  So if that is you, then you need to select different events for your different teams

Remember, choose carefully! There are no refunds and teams can not be moved between events.  Also, there is no way to order the additional items  (Medals or Member Trophies) AFTER you checkout, so please take care to look over your Shopping Cart before you pay.

Finally, all sales are final. You are buying a seat like at a concert.  We have no ability to refund or move your team.

IMPORTANT:  If you contest the charge via your credit card company or via paypal, you will no longer be eligible to participate in NorCal region until the charges are paid in full. Any future registrations after making Playing At Learning “whole”, payment will only be accepted via Banker’s Check, Cashier’s Check or other cash equivalents.

Each team registration includes:
  •  Entry for the team (up to 6 team members plus 2 adult coaches and team parents)

Each team will also receive at the Festival:

  • 1 Team Trophy and Team Award Certificate
  • Custom NorCal Participation Pin for each team member
  • Participant Certificates
