2021 NorCal FLL Explore Festivals
For the 2021-2022 season, all NorCal FLL Explore events will be held remotely (all online) using the hopin event virtual platform (which we also used for the 2020 season).

TEAM VOLUNTEERS: For FLL Explore we encourage each team to provide at least 1 volunteer. Unlike in other NorCal programs (FLL Challenge or FTC), team-related volunteers can fill any role available (even reviewer) since the events are non-competitive (all teams are recognized with a trophy) and there is no advancement.
When Registration Opens
- Go to the Events Page and select the specific Festival that you want to register for.
- Feb/Mar events open on Nov-29
- Apr/May events open in Jan-11
- The Team Registration fee of $100 is already included. There are 4 additional, optional items to add (or not).
- Then enter your FIRST Team Number and team size and click “Add To Cart”.
- Then checkout.
- Have multiple teams?
- Note that you will have to do each team separately.
- Importantly, each team must be able to have at least 1 designated supervising adult that will be online with the team for the entire event. So if that is you, then you need to select different events for your different teams
Remember, choose carefully! There are no refunds and teams can not be moved between events. Also, there is no way to order the additional items AFTER you checkout, so please take care to look over your Shopping Cart before you pay.
Each team registration includes:
- Hopin Event tickets for the team (up to 6 team members plus 2 adult coaches)
Each team will also receive after the Festival:
- 1 Team Trophy and Team Award Certificate
- Custom NorCal Participation Pin for each team member
- Participant Certificates (Customized PDF emailed to coach to print locally)
